Daniel Garber is a partner at Fergus Garber Group. Before joining his wife at FGG in 2002, Dan was a Partner in Relign Consulting and before that a vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle, both real estate services and consulting companies. Mr. Garber started his professional life at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (Chicago) a large international architectural engineering company. He is a licensed Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), CoreNet Global, a professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives, US Green Building Council (USGBC), and the American Planning Association (APA). Dan received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where he received a PPG traveling scholarship. Dan is the Chair of the Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission, a trustee of TheatreWorks Repertory Theatre in Mountain View, and a former President of the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo. With what time is left, Dan enjoys playing tennis, hanging with his two boys who are now less interested in hanging out with him, and napping.
