We are strong managers of our client's design and construction processes. We work with our clients to establish the design services, teams, deliverables and fees that will best support their project. We utilize online anticipated cost systems, issuance and information tracking and collaboration tools that help us sustain the highly collegial relationships we have with our clients, contractors and other consultants that compose the design team. These management tools and our comprehensive design documentation result in projects that run smoothly, efficiently and are highly valued by our clients.
We are leaders in environmental stewardship. Our focus and expertise in green design has resulted in one of our houses meeting LEED Platinum criteria, one of Northern California's first. We will be among the first in the nation to have performed an embodied energy analysis of a portfolio of our single family houses to establish targeted embodied energy thresholds for our design practice (this analysis is scheduled to be published late 2008). We have significant expertise in designing to meet Green Points, LEED and California's Title 24 requirements. Our commitment to the environment is further supported by the addition of the Sustainability Manager role in our firm.
